This agent confused my house with another he had on contract and misled (lied) to my realtor and I in writing my roof had damage to get more money for his client. He lied about being present and on the roof during a home inspection. It wasn't until the day before closing that he discovered had the wrong house in mind. I'm considering filing an ethics complaint. I can't approach his broker because he appears to work for family.

It was a happenstance meeting with Chris when we first decided to sell our prior home and look for a new home in Louisville Kentucky. His knowledge of the area, his understanding of people and their motivations, his willingness to keep up with the details, how easy of a demeanor he has and to do what it takes to execute on the project is far above than what was expected. He knows a lot of people who are able to help me get my old house in order as well as get things done in my new home. He was very kind and even helped me clean up a place I was running out of time right before closing. Super, great professional, who I highly recommend. Chris was easy to talk to and was a joy to work with as a first-time homeowner. I was nervous because the market wasn't great, but Chris knew what to do, how to time putting in offers, and how much to offer. He introduced me to a phenomenal local mortgage officer, Martha Johnson, who locked in a rate right before it went up. Together, we were able to get a place that I didn't think was possible because of the highly coveted location and affordable price. I've been living at my new home for a little over a month, and every day I love it even more. My friends and family are always ooohing and ahhing when they come over. It was terrifying as a first-time buyer when I went up against at least four other offers for my place. It came down to another buyer and me. I was only in the top two because Chris had researched what offer would most likely get the sellers to accept but was still within my budget. From his experience, he knew that the timing of my offer was crucial because of the low inventory of houses and the fact we were going up against buyers with more money. We were about to compete in a final showdown to see who could offer the best when thankfully, Chris negotiated in my favor, so the showdown never happened. The best part was I was still within my budget. He only told me about the showdown after he secured a contract with the sellers. Chris somehow knew that telling me everything as it was happening in real-time would have caused unnecessary anxiety as a first-time owner. I'm glad he spared me the details.
