Before acquiring First Coast Sotheby's International Realty in 2009, he was the founder and CEO of multiple building, design, and development firms specializing in high-end residences. His portfolio includes over 75 multimillion-dollar properties across Aspen, Colorado; Boca Raton; Ponte Vedra Beach; St. Augustine; and Jacksonville, Florida. Jeffrey obtained his Florida Certified Building Contractor License in 1987 and his Florida Real Estate License in 1988, giving him a unique blend of expertise in both construction and sales. Under his leadership, First Coast Sotheby's grew to five offices and over 100 agents, ultimately merging with One Sotheby's in 2021. As a Broker Associate and member of The Chefan Group, Jeffrey continues to set the standard for excellence in Northeast Florida's luxury real estate market. Jane Chefan, grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and is a University of Florida graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, she obtained her Florida Real Estate License in 1988. Alongside Jeffrey, Jane helped design, build, and sell over $75 million in luxury residences across Northeast Florida between 1989 and 2009. Her expertise in high-end home design and sales, combined with her dedication to client relationships, made her a driving force in the growth of First Coast Sotheby's. Jane's passion for real estate, community involvement, and client satisfaction continues to be at the heart of The Chefan Group's success of more than $300 million in sales. Jessica Chefan Hansen has followed in her parents' footsteps, bringing a fresh perspective and deep market knowledge to The Chefan Group. A Jacksonville native, Jessica grew up surrounded by real estate, gaining firsthand experience in luxury sales and property development. After earning dual degrees in Marketing and Real Estate from Florida State University, she joined One Sotheby's as a Broker Associate. Jessica has played a pivotal role in The Chefan Group, contributing to over $300 million in Chefan Group sales. Her expertise in Jacksonville's top neighborhoods, schools, and amenities makes her an invaluable asset to buyers and sellers alike. Beyond their professional success, the Chefans are deeply committed to their community. They actively support charitable causes such as Wolfson Children's Hospital's First Coast Design Show, the Gator Bowl, and Rotary International. Their love for Jacksonville extends beyond real estate, as they enjoy boating, tennis, and traveling together as a family. Jessica and her husband, Matthew, welcomed their first child in December 2022, adding to the joy of Jane and Jeffrey's growing family, which also includes their youngest daughter, Whitney, and son-in-law, Dylan and their two children, Isla and Carter.
