About Charlene Folan

I am a lifelong resident of Dorchester. I attended Fontbonne Academy and graduated in 1993. I became an nurse in 1996 and worked throughout Massachusetts as a travel nurse until 2004 when I chose to go into Real Estate with Jack Conway in the Milton office. I continue nursing part time along with real estate until 2009 when I decided to pursue Real Estate full time.

I live in Dorchester with my husband, Michael and daughter, Caitlin who was born in January 2010.

I had a great experience working with Charlene. I heard about Charlene through a mutual friend, who knew I was looking to buy a condo. I had a small pre-approval to work with and Charlene never gave up the search. It took almost two years and a lot of disappointments but Charlene stuck with me. She was very patient, always gave me good advice, explained the pros and cons of any place we viewed, and believe there were plenty! Charlenes' skills throughout the process were phenomial, if there was something she was not sure about, within a few hours she knew. I had worked with a rew other realtors before I heard about Charlene and was beginning to get very disillisioned about the whole thing,about to gave up. Charlene listened to my"wants and needs" and was very reassuring about everything, told me not to give up and eventually found the perfect place for me. I would highly recommend Charlene to anyone who is looking to buy their first place or sell, rent. she is an amzing person.

Charlene is great. I like that she respects I have a child. She was very honest with us.Some realitors only care about selling a house. I have a child with asthma so I need honesty because I can't have mold in the house.I am going to stay with charlene when I am ready to purchase a new home.

Charlene scheduled viewings at all the units we were interested in, as well as suggesting other neighborhoods in which we might look. Charlene helped us set up a number of viewings, but financing did not work out so we had to bag the endeavor before seeing anything. She then gave us some leads on tracking down apartments in the area. I can't speak to process expertise or negotiation skills, but her local knowledge and responsiveness were very good.
