It is the children that I see in their own home for the first time swinging on their swingset and excited to show me their room that made me realize my happiness and passion wasn't about selling real estate, it was about building relationships through helping people. We both had a wonderful experience with Cathy, as our buyer's agent. My husband and I have very different personalities and we look for very different things in a house. Cathy always took the time to make sure she understood what we were both happy and not happy about in a house we were looking at. We were looking for a house in the state of CT. Cathy was willing to travel all around the state showing us houses, even if it was out of her locality. Buying a house in another state could be terrifying, especially when you dont know the state and havent seen the house, but it hasnt been, purely because weve had Cathy on our side! Cathy has been our eyes and ears - she viewed potential houses for us and gave us videos, and feedback. I'm not sure I would have trusted anyone else to view houses for us, but straight away, I knew I trusted her instincts and experience. Throughout the whole process, from keeping us informed on developments to always making sure we got the best deal, we could not have asked for better representation. Catherine Deschenes is THE most patient realtor we have ever come across. We must have looked at 30 homes with her and whilst we did notfind the ideal horse property in CT, she tried so hard to find, we have to say it was an absolute pleasure working with her and getting to know her.
