As a graduate of Nekoosa High school, and a long time resident of the tri-city area, I have a great appreciation for all the activities this area has to offer. My children have attended both the public and private schools in the area. All the schools have a good focus on family and work hard to help each child with their individual learning. I've had the privilege to give back to our schools by volunteering at the sporting events my children have been involved in. At the state cross country meet, helping out the teams and other volunteers learn about or the running course or the area; places to eat, stay or visit while in town. This is a large event for our town and surrounding areas. The best part is hosting the local team for meals and friendship. With the track team I get to make them snacks for the long bus trips. The comradery this team has is great to watch, they support each other on and off the track. During my free time my husband and I enjoy traveling around the state visiting wineries and breweries. We have just included distilleries in Wisconsin. If we are not on the road with the kids or traveling I'm quilting. I've been quilting since the second grade and found it relaxing and calming. I have worked in the hospitality and customer service industry for over 10 years.Working with brides-to-be and grooms-to-be has been a great privilege, helping them create their once in a lifetime wedding, takes time and patience. Also working with families for the surprise birthday parties, anniversaries and all the big and small events in families has been very rewarding.
