ZillowVERIFIEDMy wife and I, first time buyers, were looking for an apartment on the UES for our family (3 kids). While we would have been happy to keep renting, we wanted to explore buying to take advantage of low interest rates and a relative buyers market. Carolyn was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us A LOT about real estate: not just what to look for in an apartment, but what to look for in a building ("Always go to the basement of a building, you can learn a lot.") We ended up looking for ~6 months; she was incredibly patient as we went through several places. Most notably, we were very interested in a particular place, and Carolyn advised us against buying at the listed price (or anywhere near it). When she gave us this advice that was working against her own interest, we knew we could trust her, absolutely. In the end we found a fantastic place and Carolyn guided us expertly through the contract process, board interview, and closing. We'd work with her again in a heartbeat.
