The first step in the home buying process is getting pre-approved with a trusted lender. I always recommend contacting a few and choosing one that you feel comfortable with and be sure to ask what fees they charge and compare!

I love asking sellers what they love about their property and what they may change or dislike. It gives you an idea from their perspective. Definitely always recommend depersonalizing, and if selling furnished, I always recommend removing items that are not negotiable to prevent confusion later if possible. I always promote open communication and expect that of all of my clients!

The transaction that sticks out the most to me, is a gentleman that I sold a lakefront home to. He had been looking for quite some time and had made an offer on a different property but the contract fell through. He absolutely loves the property he purchased and is always thanking me and telling me. The fishing is good and he's already got a new boat dock for his house boat that's been in his family for years! Making clients happy is my #1 priority! I will never pressure them into making a purchase!

My grandmother sold real estate when growing up outside of St. Louis! I used to go on home tours with her after school and loved it! I always wanted to sell real estate and finally took the leap and am very glad that I did!
