Our family decided that we were ready to move out of state after our middle daughter graduated, and we were paired with Carol Anne through a program for fellow EOD community families. Knowing she had their stamp of approval, we knew right off the bat she was going to be fantastic to work with. We started working with her in the late summer of 2024 and we gave her the things we were looking for in our next home and a price point we thought would be sufficient. We started the process early so we had a chance to have the full buyer process, when we purchased our current home it was all new, but coming from a military move, we weren't blessed with months to look and find our home. She added us to the distribution program she uses so we could see various homes in the area based on the things we talked about. Of course we looked online at homes at various times and pushed the price point upwards, anything we saw we liked, she would always be so helpful with any questions we had. We would show her homes and she knew based on our conversations both on the phone and in email that it wouldn't suit our needs, but would explain the things we weren't seeing as to why it wasn't what we had talked about wanting in our next home. We kept in contact throughout the fall and winter, always with various questions about properties we saw. Her knowledge of the area helped us understand a general area to narrow our focus to. We got the opportunity in February to visit the area again and knew that this would be our opportunity to visit homes on the market and work in person with Carol Anne. We gave her a whole list of homes to see and us not knowing the area, we drove all over seeing these homes. She quickly picked up on how the homes made us feel walking into them, spoke with my husband and I at various points in these homes but really got to know how each of us felt on an independent level as to not be swayed by the others body language. We ended our visit by putting a bid in for a gorgeous home, it all happened so quickly but she knew every step to take, and explained everything we questioned. This home unfortunately was not the one, so we continued our journey from a far. We showed her more homes we liked and she set up time to go visit them and share them with us via video chat as if we were there with her. Her positive attitude and outlook on this situation really eased our minds that we would find the home in our timeline and price. We found a home we loved and began the journey of bidding, going under contract, inspections, the works.. she was there every step of the way. Our purchase was going to be based solely on our video chat tour and Carol Anne's keen eye for the details. We closed on our new home, and some may think this is crazy, but we've never physically been to the home, touched the counters, walked in the closet, or checked out the backyard. I have no doubt that without Carol Anne's knowledge and expertise, this process wouldn't have been as seamless as it was. She truly has such a big heart and you can tell that everyone she works with, walks away with a smile on their face and a new home to settle into.

I chose her because she not only works in the Verde Valley, she lives there too, she has real working knowledge about the area because it's her home.
