Carlos represented the homeowner for an apartment I was genuinely interested in. Everything appeared to be going well. I was even informed that my rental application had been accepted by the property owner. Then, suddenly, complete radio silence. I understand that things can change and that the owner might have chosen to move forward with another applicant, thats completely fine. However, a great real estate agent should prioritize clear and timely communication, especially with serious potential tenants. Even a brief follow-up would have gone a long way in maintaining a professional relationship. Strangely enough, as I'm writing this, I noticed the property is back on the market. It leaves me questioning what really happened.
