Caitlin was an excellent real estate agent to work with. For me, being a first time homebuyer is not an easy thing. Having not gone through any homeowners classes, I was very raw walking into the process. Caitlin enlisted her services as our agent and made a point to make not only make us feel comfortable, but to keep us informed throughout the whole experience. Shed attend as many open houses with us and would schedule and coordinate all the showings with listing agents. She connected us with a very good borrower who was also very supportive. If it were not for Caitlin and our inspector, we may have ended up in a home with structural issues. I would highly endorse Caitlin as a real estate agent, especially for first time homebuyers.
Caitlin Reynolds very patiently and professionally helped me navigate the process of being a first-time home buyer?twice. A little over a year ago I started looking for my first home in Rhode Island. This was an entirely foreign process to me. I wasn?t sure exactly what I was looking for, or where. I had a million questions along the way. And to add to it, I had an incredibly difficult calendar to schedule around as I work in Boston, so I leave very early and don?t get home until late at night. None of that phased Caitlin in the least. While some homes felt like a waste of time seeing, she thought the complete opposite because every house taught her something more about what I liked and didn?t. By the end of the process we could walk into a house and, without speaking a word, both knew if it had potential or was a hard pass. After a few months, I was extremely excited when I found my dream home, or so I thought. I put an offer in and they accepted. Things were moving along very smoothly?until the inspection. Due to a number of reasons, I unfortunately had to walk away. I was heartbroken for losing the house, but I also felt terrible for that all of Caitlin?s hard work was seemingly for nothing. It was an emotionally exhausting experience for me and, while I?m sure it was the same for Caitlin, she never skipped a beat or made me feel anything but comfortable with my decision. It was time for me to take a few months off from my house hunting. Fast forward 6 months and I was ready to start the search again. This time I knew exactly what I wanted, and I had narrowed down my search to a few specific neighborhoods. I called up Caitlin to see if she was onboard to go through this with me again, and she said ?of course!?. And for all we had gone through before, it meant that we were in lock-step now. Every listing she sent me was a potential, and when ?the one? came around, we both knew. I put an offer in and, again, it was accepted. Fortunately, this time everything went off without a hitch. Caitlin liaised with all parties involved, kept me organized and on track with all the scheduling and decisions that needed to be made, and incredibly we were able to close on-time with virtually zero hiccups. Re-reading this review before I post it and I find it humorous that I made it the whole way through before event acknowledging Caitlin?s infectious personality. If you work with her, it will be the first thing you jot in your mental notes. Bubbly, vibrant, warm, welcoming?Caitlin is someone you won?t forget meeting. Long story short, I had the unfortunate joy of going through the home buying process twice in one year with Caitlin, but I hope others out there get the same great experience on their first go around.
