For being a first time home buyer Bryan York was a blessing to work with. He was actually the second realtor I had. The first person who I was working with seemed to only want the quick sale. Bryan York was completely opposite. I ended up finding a house that I loved. Bryan recommended that I get a sewer scope inspection done to check for orange berg in the sewer system. I had forgotten to schedule the sewer scope and he called me before the deadline to get it done. The houses ended up needing a new sewer systemWhich would have costed me $11,000 had I not paid to get the sewer scope done on his suggesting.After closing I went in the basement and noticed a discoloration of the carpet in a basement room that was in the corner by a built in book shelf. I took off the bottom shelf and noticed mold. I then started taking down the book shelf and noticed more. I texted him to see what I could do and he reached out to me ASAP to try and get the issue resolved. Unless youre buying a brand new house there will always be issues with anything you buy. How hes worked with me AFTER the sale is honorable. His knowledge of houses in the Des Moines area market and recommending a sewer scope saved me $11,000 plus. I hope this review is helpful to someone looking to find a realtor. There are plenty to chose from but he is the best.
