FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
My biggest advice to buyers is to be informed and prepared before making a move. Understand the market you’re buying in, your true budget, and what matters most to you long-term. In competitive markets, having strong guidance on pricing, offer structure, and timing is just as important as finding the right home.
I also encourage buyers to look beyond the surface of a property. Pay attention to condition, layout, location, and future resale value—not just finishes. Whether you’re purchasing a resale home or new construction, asking the right questions early and understanding the contract details can save time, stress, and money. A good agent should help you feel confident in your decisions, not pressured into them.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
My biggest advice to sellers is to focus on preparation and pricing from the very beginning. Homes that are priced correctly and presented well tend to generate the most interest and the strongest offers early on. Understanding current market conditions, buyer expectations, and timing is critical to achieving the best outcome.
I encourage sellers to look at their home through a buyer’s eyes and address any simple improvements that can enhance first impressions. Professional staging guidance, strong marketing, and clear communication throughout the process all play a role. With the right strategy and realistic expectations, selling a home can be both smooth and successful.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a wide range of clients throughout the Kansas City metro, including first-time buyers, move-up and downsizing homeowners, luxury buyers and sellers, and clients purchasing or selling new construction and custom homes. I also regularly assist families relocating within the area, as well as buyers and sellers navigating more complex or competitive situations. I've worked with a lot of investors over the years and I enjoy educated first time investors. My motto to them is " I wouldn't sell you something that I wouldn't buy myself"
Every client’s goals and circumstances are different, and I take the time to understand what matters most to them. Whether someone is buying their first home, selling a long-time property, or building a new one, my approach is always tailored, thoughtful, and focused on achieving the best possible outcome.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One recent transaction I’m especially proud of involved helping a family purchase a new construction home in Overland Park during a competitive market. We worked closely with the builder to evaluate lot options, review contract terms, and customize the floor plan and finishes to fit the client’s needs and budget. It is always super fun to help customize floor plans and I love when the build is complete and look back and know I had a hand in the process.
Throughout the process, clear communication and careful attention to detail were key. By staying proactive and addressing questions early, we avoided delays and were able to negotiate favorable terms that helped protect the client’s investment. The transaction closed smoothly, and the clients felt confident and excited about their new home, which is always the goal.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I grew up around real estate. My father owned a real estate company in Michigan, so I was exposed to the business from an early age. I remember sitting in on closings and seeing how excited people were when they received their first set of keys.
Watching those moments made a lasting impression on me, and that feeling of helping people reach an important milestone has stayed with me throughout my career. Even after many years in the industry, seeing clients happy and confident at the closing table is still the most rewarding part of what I do.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
In addition to being a licensed real estate broker with over 30 years of experience, I participated in one-on-one real estate coaching for more than 12 years and was coached weekly by some of the top agents across the country. This ongoing coaching sharpened my skills in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, market analysis, and client communication.
Along with this formal coaching, I have extensive hands-on experience working with buyers, sellers, and builders on new construction and custom homes. This combination of real-world experience and advanced coaching allows me to anticipate challenges, explain options clearly, and guide clients through decisions with confidence. My focus is always on protecting my clients’ interests and achieving the best possible outcome.

New home construction and honestly Bryan is what kept the house and process on the track. His communication made a world of difference. The periods where he was unavailable did not go well but his management of the project and his communication with us, the builder, and all the subs is what worked the plan.

Bryan has been great to work with as both a buyer and seller. In 2010, he helped us in our search for our perfect home. He listened to what we were looking for and what our budget was then patiently drove us around the city until we found the house that was right for us. Last year, when it was time to sell our rental houses, we reached out to Bryan and he didn't disappoint. He guided us through the renovation process ensuring that our house was market ready when it was listed. Within a record time our house was sold at a great price. We look forward to working with Bryan on selling our next house.

A pleasure to work with, this is our 2nd time using Bryan as our Realtor. He priced our home correctly. and our home sold in 1 day. Contractors at Bryans fingertips prepared our home for listing, they did good work at a more than fair price. Bryan also found us our new home. After showing us many properties across the metro we purchased a home that checked all of our boxes! We could not have had a better experience and will recommend and use Bryan in the futire!
