Love for Travel and Adventure My curiosity into the world of real estate began with my travels. I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie. I could see the coasters of Cedar Point from my house on a clear day and ended up working there through high school and college. I decided to go on an adventure of a lifetime and become a foreign exchange student to Argentina and live with a host family while there. I may not have been able to speak a word of Spanish at the time, but the adventure led me to loving a second family like they were my own and becoming fluent in a second language. It was there that I began to learn about types of homes as well as ways of life. I then ended up backpacking throughout Europe, staying with friends I had met both at Cedar Point and other former exchange students that had traveled to Argentina. During college I decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. I ended up at Ohio University for both undergraduate and graduate school studies and completed my B.A in Psychology and obtained my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. My job and love of houses led me to move to multiple areas in SE Ohio including The Plains, Athens and Guysville, living in neighborhoods as well as out in the rolling hills outside of town. The kindness of the people and the way of life of Athens made me feel at home. (They say after 10 years you become a "townie" and that's definitely what I became.) I left for Mansfield for a job opportunity in the therapy world, but Athens called me back home after just over a year. Home Life In 2019 I married my best friend. We enjoy trail running, hiking, and playing with our dogs, 3 boys and baby girl. We both love an adventure, traveling and good food, so the multiple locally owned restaurants and the various outdoor activities of Athens is what we both love about SE Ohio. We love to hike with the kids, swim at the local "lakes", and try out new menu options at the locally owned restaurants. Hitting the trails is our past time. I was finally able to complete my dream of running a half marathon on the trails and hope to catch up to my husband and someday run an ultra-marathon. Hard working As a mother of four young kids and a high energy mastiff mix pup, I am currently pursuing a dream of opening a restaurant and Brewery near the Bailey's Trail System in Chauncey Ohio, I am amazing at multi-tasking. I love a challenge and I have a major desire to help people. Real estate allows for both. I am here to help you get the outcome you want with both buying and selling your home and will go above and beyond to make that happen.
