I entered the real estate arena in 2001, and since then, I've been empowering people to turn their property aspirations into reality. We're steeped in Maine tradition. I'm a lifelong resident of this beautiful state, born in Waterville, raised in Belgrade and then Augusta, and currently residing in West Gardiner. After venturing to Massachusetts for a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson College, I returned to the place that has my heart--Maine. My professional accomplishments extend far beyond the number of closed transactions. I've served as a two-time President of the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors, held directorial roles on both the Maine Association of Realtors and Maine Listings boards and amassed an array of awards, including Realtor of the Year. These accolades affirm my commitment to delivering impeccable service. Real estate is in my DNA; my father founded Rizzo Mattson Realtors, and the baton has since passed to me. My aunt is a Realtor, and my uncle an appraiser. I take pride in maintaining the family legacy of excellence, fortified by a marketing degree and a background in sales. But there's more to me than contracts and negotiations. Life's finest moments often happen away from the office. I relish quality time with my wife, Carol, a dedicated high school math teacher, and our sons, Cody and Cam. Once active in various sports, they're now budding entrepreneurs running Camco Lawn Care. You could say entrepreneurship runs in the family! Outdoors is where you'll often find us, whether it's boating on Cobbossee, hitting the golf course, or hiking with our golden retrievers, Gus and Tommy. I'm also a fan of action and science fiction movies, a gym enthusiast, and a lover of a good brewpub.

Brian was professional from start to finish. This was the second home my wife and I have purchased, but first time in Maine. He was very accomodating given that we were moving from Massachusetts. Brian stayed in touch throughout the process keeping us informed so there were no surprises. He was easily contacted and available via email, phone, text and in person which made the transaction much smoother since we were unable to drive up for every house we were interested in. Brian even went out of his way to video chat for a walkthrough so we did not have to drive 3 plus hours for a potential house we may or may not be interested in. Not only was he a knowledgable realtor, but a great contact for networking. In short, my wife and I hired Brian as our realtor and ended up with a great friend who still checks in on our family. We love Brian. He helped us sell our old house, and helped us buy our new house. He has always been very responsive in all our communications with him, even when he was on vacation and we told him he didnt have to be. We spent 6 months looking for our house, and Brian was with us every step of the way, answering questions, dealing with other realtors, and just talking with us when we needed to vent. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking for a realtor. In fact, we already have! Several of our friends have already used Brian and been very happy with him as well.
