Bret Charlesworth

Exposed to the industry from an early age, Bret grew up in Ogden, Utah, watching his father own and operate a brokerage of his own. Bret earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Weber State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Before entering the world of real estate, he worked as vice president of sales and marketing for various companies. During this time, he honed his negotiation skills, routinely handling and negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts. Bret identified a desire to engage with clients on a more personal level and eventually decided to pursue a career in real estate, following in his father's footsteps. In 2020 and 2021, he was one of the top five performing agents at Summit Sotheby's International Realty's Draper office. Specializing in Salt Lake and Utah Counties, where he does over half of his business, Bret also has extensive knowledge of Weber and Davis Counties, having grown up in Ogden and working for three years at a Layton brokerage and does quite a bit of business in that area as well. Bret and his wife Sheree started their family in Kaysville, Utah, where they lived for ten years before moving to California for a couple of years. Bret and his family recently relocated to Sandy after 18 years in Draper. A strong love for Utah's mountains and outdoor activities has been instilled in Bret since birth and he enjoys spending time along the Wasatch Front, partaking in the many activities accessible right out his door. When he's not working, you can find Bret skiing, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, playing tennis, traveling the world, or spending time with his family. He cherishes Utah's natural beauty and seasonal diversity, but he adores the people and the state's strong sense of family and community even more.
