We went into this process with the notion that buying a home in the Nashville area was likely going to be difficult and most likely not result in a home that fulfilled our wishlist; however, Tate more than exceeded every expectation. He not only found us a home that checked off our entire list, but he made the process seamless, organized, and heartfelt. We would never be in the house we are in now if it wasnt for him. Our journey started in our living room when Tate came over to explain each step of the home buying process and to discuss/understand what was important to us (house specs, layout, location, amenities, commute, etc). His insight, knowledge, and experience were evident right out of the gate. He was always on the lookout for homes that fit our criteria and priorities, answering all our questions/curiosities, providing marketed analysis, and being a voice of reason. The house we ended up finding was not initially on our radar, but thankfully, Tate sent us the listing and asked if we had considered it. After all, we loved it, and it checked every box and more! Not to mention the benefit of working with a Compass agent that allowed us to see an off-market listing that helped us get our foot in the door. The purchase process all happened when we were out of the country, and Tate made the process so smooth (even went above and beyond to be provide virtual showings & videos, so we did not miss out on the home of our dreams). Tates strategy to be under contract worked out perfectly! Not to mention his negotiation experience resulted in a contract we were very happy about! It was also evident from the communications that the sellers agent trusted and respected Tate, which made the process easier on everyone involved. All the way through inspections, appraisal, and closing, Tate kept us informed and provided valuable guidance. He took initiative to line up appointments, recommend various vendors, and communicate every step of the way. We always felt like we had someone on our team that was trustworthy, a great communicator, listener, hardworking, detail-oriented, and ultimately our advocate who undoubtedly had our best interests in mind. Finding our new home with Tate was a gift!
