Folks I met walking in Pacific Grove, CA who were looking at a for sale sign that I asked if they were interest in the price of the home. They were but the home was in escrow. They had just started to think about purchasing a home in Pacific Grove to have available when they decided to retire in a year or so. Over the next few months there were several homes that were of interest and one they wanted to write an offer on. That home didn't seem to check off all their requirements so I advised them to wait for their dream home. They agreed and found one several months later that checked all their boxes.
