Ben Engelman

Anyone who thinks real estate agents are stuffy clearly hasn't met Ben Engelman. His enthusiasm for helping people sell or build the perfect house would make you think you're on the next episode of an HGTV reality show. Don't be fooled by his goofball exterior and entertaining Snapchats. He's a tenacious negotiator, going the extra mile and advocating for his clients and making sure they get the best deal possible. He's an all around good time, but he also brings an ambitious zeal to get the job done. Ben started out his career serving our country in the Navy. While this helped him develop the mindset of a workhorse and a systematic approach to projects, after five years, he and his wife Teresa decided it was time to come home to Ames. Before stepping into real estate, Ben owned a building service contracting firm, where he was able to hone his talents in leadership, negotiation, and customer satisfaction. In his spare time, he loves spending quality time with his family, whether that's cheering on the Cyclones, going on vacation with his four kiddos, or just hanging out at home. At the center of all Ben does, is a love for people. He's one of the easiest guys to talk to, whether you're looking to sell or build a house or just run into him around town.
