I didn't know Barb when I started to look for a new house. I came to Zillow to see what Real Estate agents might be available who had great success in supporting buyers in the geographic areas in which I hoped to buy. Barb's profile jumped out at me for the sheer volume of people who complimented her considerable real estate knowledge and experience in those areas, and for her strong commitment of support for meeting her clients' needs and interests in buying the home they wanted. In my buying process Barb was all of that, and then some! At various times she showed great patience (mostly with me when I struggled with some difficult choices), and then demonstrated a strong, powerful, and supportive action orientation when it was needed in a difficult negotiation circumstance. When technical, mechanical, electrical, construction, etc. support was needed, she knew exactly the right person to engage on my behalf. She also met the challenge of coaching me through surviving, staying positive, and ultimately succeeding in buying a home in a highly competitive seller's market. Barb's knowledge and experience also paid dividends as I NEVER worried a bit about the proper handling of the considerable administrative elements of the offer, negotiation, contracting, and settlement processes. She prepped me extremely well on what I should expect and when each step should happen, and everything went exactly as she said it would. As you might expect, it was very easy for me to extend my working relationship with Barb into her supporting me in the selling process of my then current home. Most importantly, she kept me on track to get the house on the market as quickly as possible, even helping me by engaging a staging firm for them to do a walk-through and provide their best advice on making my home look its best for showings. The house sold more quickly than I could have ever expected, and settlement occurred within about thirty days of when we put it on the market. I was thrilled!
