In this market, I would say view any properties you are interested in as soon as you can, so that you have the most time to make a decision before the house is potentially under contract or no longer available. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want from a seller, including making offers below ask and asking for concessions, etc. Sometimes I see clients afraid to make an offer, knowing very well the seller would likely accept. Work with an agent who will advocate for you and help you navigate the whole buying process, there are many steps after the offer is accepted and there are 3 opportunities to negotiate during the buying process, have a strong negotiator there to help you through that.

Remember that small details can make the difference between selling your home or not and how much you sell it for. Photos are super important as they are what will drive clients to want to view your home. Do your best to declutter, stage, and prep your home. A key asset that an agent can provide is being someone that will be able to answer the phone and facilitate showings and help bring in offers from potential buyers. This can be done with effective follow up, ease of showings, and open houses among other marketing techniques.

I have worked with a variety of clients both buying and selling homes. My husband is a veteran which has given me a lot of insight into military moves and VA loans. I have a Finance background, which makes it easy for me to have conversations of how real estate fits into your overall portfolio and helps me connect with luxury buyers/sellers. I also tend to really connect with my clients and work as if it was me buying or selling, so my clients know I put a lot of hard work and heart into what I do.

I have about 14 years of experience in Finance before becoming an agent. I was often advising clients on how to use their real estate to help them with their financial plan. I naturally began to have more and more interest in becoming more involved in real estate and felt like it was an easy transition into becoming an agent. I have truly loved working in real estate, negotiating comes naturally to me, and it has been a career I have flourished in.
