I highly recommend using Ashley Adams-Erschen if you are in the market to buy or sell a home. She was positive during the whole process. I had had some not-so-positive experiences with a couple of other agencies that wanted me to change several things about my home, from the stairs at the main entrance, to ripping up carpet, removing wall paper and painting all the rooms white. I had spent several thousands of dollars on renovations that I felt, added character to my house over the past recent years and I wasn't interested in undoing everything I had done. I also had relocated, so distance and time had been factors for me in making the recommended changes by other realtors. I kept feeling like "selling a house should not be this painful or this stressful" until a close friend of mine from the Dubuque area, who had also worked with Ashley on her home purchase, recommended Ashley. I found her to be very personable and immediately liked her at our first meeting. She patiently listened to my frustrations and concerns that I had had with other realtors. I wanted her to be honest with me and asked her to do so. When she walked through for the first time, she reassured me with, "I wouldn't change a thing! Someone will walk through here and fall in love with your home. Your colors are neutral enough that I don't really think any of this will be an issue. Even the wall paper is minimal and neutral enough that I don't think we will have trouble selling your home." She was always prompt about calling me back if I had any questions and she kept me in the loop after open houses. I felt like my home was secure in her hands. My house sold with very few hiccups, as Ashley predicted, with the closing being approximately 8 weeks after my listing at ReMax. I highly recommend Ashley if you are looking to buy or sell. She definitely has her clients best interests at heart! It's quite obvious that she likes her job and is great at what she does!

Ashley was incredible in my home buying process. I was a first time home buyer and she answered all my questions in a timely fashion, giving me insightful advice. Her expertise makes her very knowledgeable in all aspects of the process, from quality of houses to legal aspects of the transaction. Ashley was extremely patient working with a new homebuyer who only had a basic idea of what I wanted. I truly appreciated that she took the time to get to know me as a person, my likes and dislikes in homes, and never made any assumptions regarding the type of home that would be best for me. She encouraged me to look at all options and set me up with an email update to show me all single-family homes, townhouses, and condos that were within my price range and included my non-negotiables in a home. Ashley's process to home buying was exceptionally convenient for me, and I never felt as if I was missing out on any home possibilities. Another great thing about working with Ashley was her willingness to share her knowledge with me. If she saw something that would likely need replacing, or could be an issue she would point it out without being negative about the whole home in general. She would instead put it in terms like, "we might be able to negotiate the price down," or "we can ask that it be fixed." In addition, Ashley went above and beyond by contacting the selling realtor with my multitude of questions and immediately getting back to me with the answer. She also took the time to sit down and very patiently go through all the legal paperwork involved and make sure I understood it all. She came to the closing and checked up on my new home a few weeks after the closing.
