Start by taking down person items and pictures and repairing any wall damage. This not only starts you in your packing process but will also showcase your home better.
I've worked with both buyers and sellers. Buyers are so fun because not only are they getting to view different home but I as the realtor get to look as well! I am passionate about home decor and styles and so when I walk through homes to show, I am taking mental notes of what is trending in style and what clients are looking for. Sellers are great to work with as well because they know exactly what they are needing out of the sell of their home. They are goal oriented and ready to take on the market.
My last transaction was so fun! I helped a mom and dad from the Fort Worth, Texas, area find a home to buy for their daughter so she could attend college at SHSU Osteopathic Medical School in Conroe, Texas. They wanted home in a safe neighborhood and close to the school. We found them the perfect house and closed just in time for their daughter to start her classes in the fall!
I always knew I wanted to be in real estate. I have a passion for helping people as well as architecture, design and decor. I put my dreams on hold when my children were young but during the COVID pandemic, I found myself at home for 5 months and so I used this time to finally tackle my real estate classes and testing. I came out of the pandemic a licensed real estate agent and ready to start my career fresh. I'm so glad I did! It has been so rewarding just in the first 6 months of my career.
I am constantly taking classes to better serve my clients. I believe that it is so important to stay on top of different techniques and education for the always changing market. You can never have too much training in this field.
