Arlo is exactly the kind of real estate agent we hoped we could find as we sought a home in the Nashville area (while moving in from out of state!). Can't say enough good things about our experience with Arlo and his team. The special thing about Arlo (and his team) is that he's 5 stars across the board: 1) He's a PRO: Absolutely professional, yet personable and warm, from start to finish. 2) HE CARED ABOUT OUR GOALS: He's all about knowing and understanding our goals in a multi-dimensional fashion - not only about the house itself, but the surrounding neighborhood, city, county and other "x-factors" like school district, any relevant crime statistics and even local restaurants and fun stuff to do in the area.... he does an amazing job at implementing all of those things with nuance. 3) PERSONABLE & INTUITIVE: Arlo is never pushy. Things never feel rushed. If we needed to spend some extra time visiting a property to get a sense of it, he always made sure we could do that and he would give us the space to do so without crowding us with small talk; we felt we could imagine living in a space because our viewings were comfortable in this way.... Yet when time was of the essence, his timing was always snappy; he was on time, and we never felt any time was being wasted in the process. 5) EXPERIENCED: There's overall sense of experience and expertise with no hype; he was always positive, yet very clear about any negatives with a given property or the market overall, he kept things very objective and about our particular goals. This was a big plus. My wife and I sensed that he never forgets that this is a big life decision and always allowed us the space and time to think, take things in, and the space to ask any questions. If he didn't have an answer (which was rare) he'd find the answer fast. 5) GREAT COMMUNICATION; fast and detailed with no fluff. We always got the answers we sought and his response time never left us feeling like we were in the dark or didn't know what was coming. This kept the stress levels nice and low... especially appreciated during escrow and around closing! 6) CONFIDENT YET NEVER ARROGANT: He's never arrogant, and there's never any ego. He has a calm confidence (the kind that can only come from extensive experience). 7) Just a GOOD HUMAN: Arlo's a nice guy, but also an experienced and astute negotiator. We got a good, fair price and I always felt he was advocating for us while keeping things fair in an overall sense. This kept everything on track with the seller and the seller's agent. This can be a huge factor in securing a great home in a competitive market and he was really great in this key area as well. If you're seeking a great agent, your search is over; Go with Arlo.
