This is our second time looking for a home to purchase and weve made it through to the finish line! We were referred to Arlene Moua by our cousin. Our first home buying experience during COVID was crazy. There were over 10+ offers on a home with $50,000 over the asking price and we didnt get it. Weve given up on a home until now! This time around, weve knew we wanted the first home after visiting it. Every time, weve looked at other homes, we kept thinking about the first one. Arlene held our hands through the entire process and fought for what we wanted. She was always quick to answer our calls and text messages. Ive texted her past 10:30 PM and she still answered me. She walked us through each contract, home inspections, and reports with 90+ pages of documents. She helped us understand the importance of negotiating for the most crucial health and safety damages around the home. For the final walk through, the seller had left some junk around the garden and side of the house. The Sellers agent was not happy that weve asked for the removal of them. She was mean, rude, and arrogant. However, Arlene stood up for us and put her back in line. Eventually, the junk was removed, and we signed the walk-through contract. If I was dealing directly with the Sellers agent, I would have dropped the house just because of her attitude. But Arlene was professional and kept her cool to deal, negotiate, and convey our messages over to the Seller. She was like a Big Sister looking out for us. Its funny how weve completed everything and signed all the documents for our 1st home on our wedding anniversary. Things happened for a reason!
