Tricia Weathers did an Amazing Job helping me Find, make an Offer, and negotiate to Buy, an Amazing home in the Benson Neighborhood of Omaha, all on a 3 week deadline!! I initially thought she was just a Seller's agent for a property I wanted to look at through Zillow, but No, she came prepared to be My Buyer's Agent!! My previous agent, with another popular agency, was a nice guy, but had no focus or sense of Urgency when I needed him to. And although Tricia is also a wife, mother, volunteer, and Full Time Student, as well as an Agent, she made sure she had time for me when it counted! Most notably the night and day before she was set to take about a week's vacation to host her visiting family. After looking for two weeks, I thought our ways would soon part, cuz I NEEDED a home for my 90 yr old mother and my sister, as they were stuffed into a 1 bed efficiency with my middle brother after having had to move out of the rental they'd been in for more than 15 years due to a new owner who was renovating! And, the Management Company for my brother's Apt. was NOT going to allow them to be there much longer! The last night before Tricia's Visiting Family arrived, she poured over 280 Listings on the MLS to find 17 properties within my Price Range and with the features I Needed and Wanted. Namely, no steps and a Walk In Shower for Mom, multiple bedrooms, AND, an attached Guest or Rental Option with a separate Entrance! A tall order!! Only one of the 17 she'd found looked like it might fit the bill on paper. After looking at some others we'd previously lined up, we looked at the One, out of the 17, out of the 280 some Listings she'd meticulously searched through the previous Nite, and, it Checked ALL of the Boxes!!! Gorgeous neighborhood, beautiful, tasteful and built like a Bunker! No Steps, Huge Walk-In Shower, AND, a Guest or Rental Option on the lower level! My mother and siblings Love It, and so do I! After seeing the video of it that Tricia made that day so I could show my family asap, my youngest brother was motivated to move back home to Omaha from S.F., to spend quality time with our Mother. Even after I was under Contract and prior to Closing, Tricia mainatined timely contact and communication with me despite hosting her visiting Family, and breaking away as needed to Re-Show it to my Family, etc. After moving In in Mid July, Mom has now Transformed, due to the beautiful new living space, as well as the Walks my brother and sister are taking her on each day around the neighborhood!! Tricia was even able to help me retain many of the furnishings from the Seller. I had been a Full Time RV'er, and so had nothing to move into the new home, and Mom and Sis didn't have much worth keeping. Finally, Tricia and her Team at Better Homes and Gardens, as well as the Inspectors and other professionals she is associated with, made this search, and subsequent purchase, as easy as it could be!
