On a personal note, I went to school in Rye Town. I grew up in the Rye Brook/Port Chester area, and as an empty nester, and recently downsizing, I have the life experience of the whole cycle of real estate and lifestyle changes. From first time homebuyer, to moving up and raising a family and then downsizing once the children have married. Having lived, worked and raised a family within a 12 mile radius my entire life, I am very aware of the rewards and challenges all families face in our area regarding jobs, schools, taxes, and commuting.
