Interview agents to make sure you pick the right Realtor for you and use a reputable mortgage broker to process your loan.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Do not spend money on renovations until meeting with your Real Estate Agent. He or she will share the renovations, repairs, or improvements that you can do to the property and get the best return on your investment.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
Buyers, Sellers, First Time Home Buyers, Relocations, Veterans, Military, Tradesmen of all types, Educational, Healthcare, and Medical Professionals.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
My brokerage sold an oceanfront home in 3 weeks. It was a cash purchase of over 2 million dollars. We presented the sellers with multiple offers that we received in less than 48 hours of being on the market. Our sellers were thrilled to have their beach house sell for well over the asking price advertised on our local MLS.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was in the restaurant and bar business for 32 years and one day a good friend of mine who was a local Realtor walked into my restaurant and told me that he felt I would make a great Realtor. The following week I enrolled in the class and got my license. I've been a Top-Producing Real Estate Agent going on 10 consecutive years! I cover the entire 69-mile stretch of The Grand Strand Coastline which is from Little River, SC south through Georgetown, SC including inland through Conway. I am the Broker-in-Charge and Part-Owner of Coastal Key Group Resal Estate Sales brokerage located in lovely Murrells Inlet, SC which is known to be the seafood capital.

I have many friends who are realtors and after talking with them I still felt that I wasn't getting the kind of help I was looking for. I was looking for property in 3 different coastal cities and Abby is who I used for the Myrtle Beach/N.Myrtle Beach area. Of all of the realtors I used, Abby has the best phone/zoom skills to virtually show the house. She moves very slowly, pointing out anything she can see and is not jerky or up and down with zoom. (I do have vertigo issues and she is awesome) Abby is very professional, follows up as needed, and does the background work on the property and area before you even have to ask. If you are purchasing remotely especially, I highly recommend Abby to assist you with your next home purchase!
