We made the decision to eliminate a mortgage payment and to decrease property taxes by downsizing. The interests rates were not ideal. It certainly wasnt a sellers market and we desired to relocate within our community where affordable choices were very limited. We met Anthony after several brief relationships with agents who were ultimately unconcerned with our personal needs and tried to sell us bridge loans. Anthonys genuine,down-to-earth, positive can do attitude is what set him apart from the rest. When it comes to navigating real estate trends and market dynamics Anthony is pretty savvy. He was honest and up front and did not beat around the bush as far as what he felt our house was worth. Our comps were selling at insultingly low prices which was pretty intimidating for us. Remarkably, Anthony sold our home in less than a month at a mid comp asking price. He was confident and did not waiver. We are eternally grateful that he protected our personal interests without compromising our integrity and the value of our home. Not only did Anthony successfully sell our home he worked tirelessly and quickly, within a contingency, to secure us our future home. Anthony was realistic,honest and informative about the challenges we faced when attempting to enter a bidding war on a highly desirable home that was in a trust. What was most impressive during this particular pursuit is that Anthony advocated for us on every level and did not back out when major obstacles appeared. He persevered with a positive, realistic and can-do attitude. Based on Anthonys sound direction we left the bidding war and looking back are grateful, monetarily, that we did. Furthermore, Anthony remained flexible, patient and accommodating as we searched for our next home. He was professional, humorous and friendly to pal around with during what was a very stressful time for us. On the purchase of our new home, we entered a six house contingency. What was very impressive is how Anthony stayed on top of this domino-style closing process. He knew exactly what plays were in progress each step of the way and remained in communication with all pertinent players, including us, keeping himself and us well informed throughout our escrow closing. Anthonys personal touch made the unexpected inconveniences of selling, buying and moving tolerable. Our escrow closed early which bumped our moving date up almost a week earlier than we had planned. We became frantic. We had lost the weekend for moving which had caused us to lose any voluntary help we had lined up. We were in a predicament. Anthony took a day off of work to help us move. He showed up early with a piping hot carton of Starbucks coffee and pastries!! Our last opened house had come and gone on a Saturday and we decided to go shopping that Sunday for new appliances. We were relieved that we no longer had to keep the house in show case condition and didnt bother to clean up before we had left for the afternoon. Dirty dishes were piled in the sink, beds were unmade, etc. as we pulled out of the driveway. We were an hour away from home and engaged in conversation with an appliance salesman when a text message came through on our phones. Anthony was seeking our permission to show our house within the next half hour. I panicked and called him concerned about the messy house we had just left behind. Anthony reassured me that he had it all under control. And he did. He showed up and cleaned up the entire house before the potential homebuyers had arrived. As he cleaned, he took pics of the made up beds and the drawers where domestic debris of all sorts were hidden out of sight and then sent us pic texts so we didnt have to worry. As former home sellers/buyers we know first hand the importance of finding a real estate agent who is reliable, skilled and suitable for accomplishing the task. Anthonys overall performance throughout our life changing transition was nothing short of stellar. With humbled and grateful hearts, we highly recommend that you give him a call.
