Recently I had a veteran who had family members who were real estate agents. He had tried to buy several years ago and didn't really feel like they were helping him so he waited. We met through a referral from my hairstylist. We had a very thorough buyer consultation and he made a decision on which lender to work with and we had a day to go look at homes. We had great communication in both directions and he found a home that had a VA assumable loan - which he ultimately purchased.

After feeling uninspired at my air traffic control job, and struggling with the demands of being a single mom, I had an interaction with a local broker and she wanted me to come work with her. I initially told her "I can't do that" and she said "Why not?!" Those two words had an impact on me, because I had wanted to - but had already committed to my own plan of school and finding a different job. But it didn't take me long to figure out a way to get my real estate license. I did finish my degree before I went into real estate full-time. I loved working with clients from the beginning and after going full-time I grew to love the challenge of all of the aspects of this business. Ensuring the people I work with have a great experience means the world to me!

My formal training as an air traffic controller and 15 years of experience in that field give me massive skills in helping clients through the real estate experience. In air traffic you need standards and protocols in place to ensure a safe and efficient outcome- and when you follow those, everyone gets to where they want safely. I use all of those skills in my real estate business and this ensures each client gets what they need, are listened to, and we have the best experience possible every single time. My business management degree had a huge focus on leadership and personal interactions that I apply each day and every interaction with others.
