I moved to Manhattan for twenty years, got married, traveled and had two wonderful children. As I watched my daughters get older it became very clear to me that nature needed to be a constant in their lives, as it was in mine. I dreamed of the lifestyle I grew up in and found that in the Hudson Valley. After visiting family and old friends in the area for many years, we decided to make the big move to living here full time, and bought a 200 year old farmhouse in New Paltz, NY at the base of Mohonk Preserve. The friendly towns and their people, farmers markets, streams, ponds and beautiful country roads offered much to explore and the proximity to NYC made this the perfect location .
