I'm writing this review to share my honest experience and express some important concerns about working with Angie. While I appreciate the time and effort she put into submitting my offer, I ultimately found the communication and overall tone of our interaction to be disappointing and misaligned with what I expect from a professional real estate experience. One of my core concerns was the lack of communication around a critical deadlineaEUR"the 6 PM closing time stated in the offer. Even if no new developments occurred, I expected a quick check-in or update to acknowledge the moment and let me know where things stood. Instead, I was left without clarity or reassurance, which created unnecessary anxiety. It was 7:15 before I heard back. Blaming the sellers agent for not having aEURoeenough decencyaEUR? then stating there was not a lack of professionalism with the sellers agent, lot of mixed messages and what felt like gaslighting When I expressed this concern of unprofessionalism I was met with a defensive and condescending response. Rather than addressing my feelings or acknowledging the importance of client-agent communication during time-sensitive moments, I was essentially blamed for the situation. And the deadline for the contract was completely disregarded. The reply focused on criticizing my strategy (despite it being my informed choice) the lack of updates, and implying that my expectations were unreasonable and would cause consequential outcomes. That was not the case after speaking with the seller's agent. The facts were revealed and the message to me was simply not the case. Felt very manipulative. I found this tone unprofessional and invalidating, especially as a client simply seeking communication and respect. A good agent should be able to offer candid advice while still listening openly and supporting the clients emotional experience, particularly during vulnerable, high-stakes moments like an offer submission or closing. Ultimately, I chose to part ways. I believe that professionalism includes not just executing paperwork, but maintaining clear communication, emotional intelligence, and mutual respect. I hope this feedback helps others who are looking for an agent whose approach aligns with those values.

Angie was a FANTASTIC agent - she shepherded us through the process of buying a second home in Tabernash, and was patient with us over a 1.5 year period as our property requirements evolved. From receiving a google map with pins of neighborhoods to visit to over two years later advocating for us in the purchase of our home, Angie and the Cahill team have had our back. When we decided to go with a new build Angie made sure we understood the unique characteristics of buying from a builder. From the start, she advocated for us and held the builder accountable. Throughout the two plus years from signing the contract to closing, Angie was engaged and treated our purchase as if it was her own. She frequently communicated with us, the builder and the listing agent along with other agents. Even after closing Angie continued to assist us and made us feel welcomed and apart of the community. Angie helped us buy a ski-in ski-out condo in Winter Park in the very difficult market of 2022. With countless cash buyers looking to get a place in the mountains and almost no inventory we needed a realtor that could get creative to get our offer accepted. We had lost out on several properties prior, bidding $50k over asking, cash, no inspection, etc. Angie took it upon herself to send out letters to all current owners in the property we were trying to buy in. When a property became available in May she used her connections so that we were the first ones to see it before it was listed. She put together a strong offer to close right away but the seller wanted to wait for an offer deadline 5 days away. With these deadlines, everyone puts in escalators up to $100k over asking. I told her to try to get a deal done before then and she delivered. She convinced the selling realtor that we were a good family to sell to. She also found a few seller expenses that we could waive to sweeten the deal (in addition to everything we waived in the initial offer) if they closed that day. The extra fees only cost us about $1300 and they agreed to close that day before anyone else could get offers in. The next Condo that came on the market 2 or 3 months later sold for almost $50k more than we paid. Hiring a good realtor is hard. If you are looking to hire a realtor in Winter Park dont waste your time with a bad realtors like we did. Call Angie first and know you will be taken care of. Angie is the type of realtor who will be invested in your journey and will do whatever it takes to get the deal done.
