Markowitz worked with an award winning team for New York's largest Real Estate Company for over 5 years. Andrew took a break from real estate rentals and sales to attain his mortgage broker license. He worked as a mortgage broker for a few years where he learned the different types of loans available for buyers and what banks look for in order for the loan to close. Wanting to further expand his knowledge, he returned to school at night earning himself a Bachelor of Science at NYU, majoring in real estate. After graduating from NYU Andrew shifted focus to working with one of NYC's major real estate developers. While working at the development firm he acted as sales director and manager of two of their high rise properties. Some of his tasks were to help design renovations that made apartments more marketable, negotiation of sales & rental contracts, and management of day to day operations. Having been in the real estate business for many years, Andrew J Markowitz was able to open up his own company where he utilizes knowledge attained from the various aspects he's been involved in to help clients reach their real estate goals.
