This whole process was like a dream. Of course when talking with friends and family, they tell you about the stressors of buying a home, so naturally I was expecting just that - stress. We consulted with Jenna Paez, with the Huemmer Home Team and bought our first home in Madison, WI.I say this process was like a dream because it truly was so smooth and seamless. Jenna's knowledge, professionalism and dedication to helping us is what made it this way. She was ready and able to accomodate our requests to tour homes, answer our questions, give us guidance and and provide clarity on the entire process. I literally felt no stress, I felt nothing but confidence. I felt "this is too easy, theres gotta be a catch" - but there wasn't. Thank you so much to Jenna Paez for making our dream come true! Jenna Paez was an angel throughout my first home buying process. With a limited budget and limited patience, she helped me tremendously. She sent me previews of upcoming listings, checked in on reduced listings, and once we found the one, sent recommendations for lenders and other vendors. We started the process in January and had a signed offer in late February for a condo in Madison/McFarland.She was just a text away during the process, and if she didn't have the answer, she'd follow up with me shortly after. I was asked to write a review about my home buying experience. I dont have a ton to say about Huemmer. They were good. This was our first home purchase, so I dont have much of a comparison. Our realtor from Huemmer was a totally different story! Sara White. Write it down, friends. I seriously cannot say enough good about her! She was not our first realtor, but as long as shes in this business- she will be our last. Our home journey took us through the highs and lows. Bursting pipes the day before closing, homeowners neglecting the heat and freezing appliances in the middle of winter, the horror stories abounded. I think our story will be referenced as an example of what you dont want to happen as part of your home-buying experience. Along every step Sara was pivotal in providing advise, advocating in sticky situations, and holding our hands when we had no idea what to do. She aced every single moment of this experience! I could easily write a 40 page book on all that Sara did, but Ill spare you the time. We bought a house during one of the toughest times to buy (May 2022). Not only did Sara finish out strong by writing a winning offer in a difficult situation, but she excelled through every high and low of our 7 month journey to secure our home! If Huemmer is reading this, I'm assuming you already know: Sara isnt another player on your team, shes the freaking MVP!
