Allison Richards

Allison Richards, CLHMS, GRI, ABR, E-PRO, hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned a degree in anthropology with a specialty in business from Sweet Briar College in Virginia. Additionally, she spent a semester abroad in Sydney, Australia, studying at the University of New South Wales. After a varied career in corporate banking, manufacturing and human resources, she began a real estate career, following the advice of a female entrepreneur she worked for who thought her personality would be a great fit for the industry. In 2008, six years after she began in real estate in south Florida, she relocated to the Panhandle. It was a full-circle moment for Allison, who had recently sold a Destin family a home outside of West Palm Beach. She craved what the family described as the "quieter small town," that has, she admitted, since grown to be a busy and dynamic community. Allison enjoys serving clients from Destin to Inlet Beach, helping match the perfect property to their needs and budget. She works frequently with out-of-state buyers seeking vacation homes or investment properties. She tailors her marketing efforts to the needs of the property and her customers and prides herself in her responsiveness to inquiries and feedback from social media, open houses and other agents. She has served as president-elect and president of the Women's Council of Realtors Emerald Coast, which perfectly coincides with those who inspire her: Female leaders who have successful careers and mentor others. She was the group's director of membership in 2017. She has also volunteered her time with Food For Thought and Shelter House. Allison is the recipient of the Women's Council's 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the 2018 High Achiever Sales Award. In 2019, she earned awards from Scenic Sotheby's International Realty for "Shortest Days of Market" and "Highest Average List-To-Sales Price." In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening and decorating, spending time outdoors and riding her horses at Kelly Plantation. She and her husband, Scotty Lisenbe, have a rescue dog, Burbot.
