ZillowVERIFIEDAlison represented both us and the seller of the home. When going over the real estate contract there was a statement about there being no timber reservation on the property. We asked Alison about this item prior to signing the contract and Alison confirmed the contract was correct (in saved e-mails) that there was not a timber reservation on the property. That was false and after purchasing the house we found out there was indeed a timber reservation which if we would have known beforehand, we would never have purchased the home. When we contacted her about this she took no personal responsibility or offered any kind of apology. We felt she was unprofessional and did not thoroughly research the questions that we asked her and was more interested in satisfying the seller. The house ended up going into foreclosure right before closing and when we finally were able to close we were told we would have to pay additional money that we felt the seller should cover since it was not our fault the home went into foreclosure. Alison did not want the seller to get upset with this information and would not tell her this so on the day of closing, Alison wrote us a personal check to cover the extra expense (saved cancelled check). During the rescheduling of the closing due to foreclosure, Alison sent us a personal document with seller's social security number on it (have saved document) which we found unethical and careless. Overall our experience was horrible and we would never recommend Alison Donahue.
