Alan contacted me through a Clever lead. We spoke on the phone and I explained our situation. Alan scheduled an appointment with my wife and me to meet at our home. He required a questionnaire, which I completed and sent me several questions by text. I answered them all. One was unusual. He didnt know how many stories my townhome was. The two other agents I am interviewing knew exactly what we wanted to list. Then Alan sent a listing for a condo one block away from mine and asked if our place had similar amenities. He stated that home had been listed for 224 days and implied it was a better aEURoecompaEUR? than our home. It seemed as if he didnt really know our area. Right after that exchange he sent a brief text canceling our scheduled appointment with no explanation as if our time was not as consequential as his. No big deal really. I questioned his commitment and he replied with a perfunctory answer. He wasted my time.
