Unfortunately, Abe was our initial property manager and assured us of a safe and clean environment to move into after we paid the rental application fee, deposit, and first month's rent. Upon moving in, we discovered the unit had no running water, was littered with previous tenants' trash and construction debris, had smoke-stained walls, and reeked of cat urine and cigarettes. Additionally, there were no working fire alarms, a busted back door window, filthy carpet, and vents filled with dust and items like plastic forks and cigarette butts. Once these issues were brought to Abe's attention, he became immediately unreachable. I also noticed that the unit is now back on the market as available for rent, despite us still having a lease agreement for it. Overall, I believe that Abe is not a reliable person to rent a home from, and I deeply regret having had the opportunity to work with him.
