Aaron Olthoff

I grew up in Livingston County, MI just west of Detroit and kept myself busy playing baseball, basketball, and snowboarding as a youngster. I attended Central Michigan University and achieved a degree in Commercial Recreation with a minor in Hospitality before moving to Colorado. I moved to the mountains of Summit County in January of 2009 to pursue endless powder days and to live the lifestyle I had always dreamed about. Well, I came to snowboard and I stayed for the summer. I had never thought much about summer in the mountains but once I had experienced it I have come to enjoy them even more than the winters. The backpacking, biking, hiking and camping is what got me hooked. I soon knew that this place would be home for me for a very long time. I now have a family with a daughter in middle school who enjoys playing on the youth hockey team while we aren't enjoying the outdoors, and a beautiful wife who works at the Summit Community Care Clinic in Frisco. We have made this beautiful place our home and have explored it all. I enjoy bringing my passion for Summit County into my work and love having the opportunity to show you exactly what makes this place special to so many people.
