Tar Heel Roots As a born and bred North Carolinian, I love this state down to my bones. I fell for the ravishing blue ridge mountains at first sight and have called this place home since 2012. I find passion and my truest self through the practice of placemaking; strengthening connections between people and the places they live, work, and share. I graduated from UNC-Asheville in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a distinction as a Community Engaged Scholar. I have extensive and continuing service experience in WNC, working with schools, community centers, and non profit organizations. In addition, I am a co-founder and manager of Woodfin's first Affordable Housing Cooperative.
