The difference comes down to appreciation, costs, flexibility, and resale demand. Questions to think about: what are your plans for it in the future and what will you do with your money if you do not buy a condo? Now is a good time to buy condos because the value came down due to COVID. So as long as you work with a good realtor you should be able to negotiate a good price that will have a higher chance of appreciation.
