I am an active, full time, local Realtor and Broker. I view buying a home as the biggest financial decision one makes and will advise you as such..sometimes that advice is "not this house or area" or, with my understanding of lending, know which houses will qualify for your specific loan and need.

Your home is your biggest asset...ask for a resume when choosing your agent. They need to be educated, experienced, full-time, direct and honest people.

The same as when buying...but, you need to understand the economics of selling and understand that, in the end, the appraisal value is what the house will see for. Again, find an agent that is actually educated and can do more than open the door and point out the kitchen lol
