What clients say about this agent....
We have done 3 transaction with Emily, the most recent 2/2020. After the 1st transaction I was convinced that she is Wonder Woman. She is excellent in her knowledge of Real Estate, a business of which many just skate through. She takes the time to know her client, their interests and needs. She is well versed in the process and what it takes for the transaction to go smoothly. Emily stays on the timeline and is in communication with the broker on the other side of the transaction to keep them accountable for the same. She is continually marketing and networking to get your property out there. I've learned so much from her, now my standards are above average. She definitely set the bar. We would work with Emily a million times over, she is the BEST!
Emily is an exceptional realtor. She worked with me on a condo purchase and a home purchase in Santa Fe. There is not another realtor in Santa Fe that I would use. Emily is extremely knowledgeable and I trust her 100%.
Being a first time home buyer creates stress and uncertainty. With Emily's incredible knowledge in the community and experience in the housing market, we were able to find a home that fit us perfectly! Emily was transparent in communication with us as we were living out of state at the time. She is a trusted advisor for all of the housing steps and is someone you stay in contact with after you purchase the house for future advice and resources! We recommend Emily to all of our family and friends.
I found Ms. Medvec to be an ideal and valuable real estate professional who was just that in every sense of the word. The process of selling in the midst of a pandemic in one of the worst hit zip codes in the state was stressful and at times highly aggravating, to say the least. Ms. Medvec was there for me at every step, providing clear, steady and invaluable insight, knowledge and guidance. She keep in constant contact with me and everyone else involved on a daily basis and clearly at the expense of her own personal life and needs. Her knowledge and expertise in her field and with what is going on within it on a national, state and local level is clearly vast. She is an advocate for the seller and I am so glad she was there for me.
Extremely RUDE agent. She may have 17 years experience, but she has a horrible attitude. Do yourself a favor and pick ANYONE else. She's so Rude! Terrible on the telephone and even worse in person. She refused to show us the homes that we requested to see. Once we saw two (we wanted to see two others), she said that two was enough for us to make a decision. Geez.. If it was such a bother, I would have offered her gas money for her to get to those two other homes (which were less than 15 min away.) This agent was representing my group.
We lived in the Southeast when we made contact with Emily. We knew that we loved Santa Fe, a little bit about the kind of house we wanted, and mostly how much we wanted to move there.Four months later, we bought a house in a great neighborhood that we love; totally because Emily helped us understand which neighborhoods would suit our needs and desires for a new home. We worked with her via email, text, FaceTime, and in-person on a couple of visits. Her knowledge of Santa Fe, and the surrounding area, is IMMENSE. She's a good listener, but also, she's a great advocate for her buyers. Very trustworthy human being. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy.
Thanks to Emily, we had an offer on our house in just over 2 weeks on the market. We closed in just under 2 months.Premier home? No.Hot market? Hardly.Lucky? Perhaps, but to paraphrase Pasteur, Luck favors the prepared. First Emily analyzed how to position our house in the local market, then developed a strategy that generated buzz among target buyers. Once we went under contract, she stayed on top of even the smallest detail. Emilys experience helped us anticipate and avoid issues, ensuring that we closed in a transaction that left both seller and buyer satisfied. All the usual superlatives apply: market savvy, responsive, creative, tenacious aEUR? you name it, Emilys got it. But its her analytical approach aEUR" her ability to develop and implement a market strategy tailored to your situation aEUR" that sets her apartIf you want an agent wholl competently market your 3 bed/2 bath home in a good neighborhood, I'm sure there are many who can get you a reasonable offer in a reasonable time frame. But it you want an agent wholl see your home as something more than that and present it to the right buyer as such, give Emily a call.
I had actually tried to contact another [well-known] realtor who never returned my calls, so I picked Emily, who was the next person on Zillow's list. Emily is the whole package: she is smart, thorough, empathetic, and tough as a bulldog when she needs to be. From the get-go, I appreciated that she took the time to explain things thoroughlyaEUR"even before we were officially working together. She loves to share her knowledge and has [seemingly] boundless energy and initiative. At some points, I was saying "Emily, let's slow down a bit!," but she helped us get an awesome house in an extremely competitive marketaEUR"quickly and seamlessly. We would not have been able to do it without her.The thing that impressed me the most is that she treats the whole transaction as if it were her own. After we put in our offer, she made sure that we got the right contractors, and that things were cleaned up and in perfect order. Even some things that didn't especially bother me, like a pile of cut wood leftover from constuction--she said "No, no that won't do!" She even helped us find the perfect realtor to market our house back East. You can't go wrong with Emily. I am so glad the other realtor didn't pick up!
In every profession you have beginners, or people with generally less experience, you have people who are average and do enough to get by and then you have true professionals who excel at what they do and take pride in every aspect of their profession. Trust me, it will not take you long to realize that Emily is not only a true professional but in my opinion would stand tall over other professionals in the business. To say my property was a challenge would have been an understatement. In a relatively short time, she masterfully found a buyer and then guided both parties through the process, which was no small task by any means. The bottom line is if you want your property sold, don't call anybody else.Thank You Emily!!
Emily Medvec is the consummate professional and there is no one more ethical, smart and savvy about real estate than Emily. My partner and I came to Santa Fe looking for a house/condo and Emily spent so much time getting to know us and our priorities. Following that, she met us at many locations giving us honest knowledge (negative or positive) about each piece of property. She provided us with a huge learning experience of the Santa Fe area and opened our eyes to exactly what it is like to be a member of the Santa Fe community. I have owned and purchased properties in New Orleans and have never had such a lovely, honest experience as with Emily. Her character is exemplary. Emily is the best!!!!
